Sailing holidays in Norway
Sailing holiday Z06 from 16 to 24 July – Alesund & Geirangerfjord
This sailing trip goes deep into the Geirangerfjord, Unesco World Heritage Site with rugged, snow-capped peaks and spectacular waterfalls such as the ‘syv søstrene’ (the Seven Sisters). A pristine and varied landscape with steep and forested mountain slopes and deep fjords created during the ice age. In Geiranger, we will stay a day for hiking and sightseeing.
Sailing holiday Z07 from 25 July to 3 August – Island hopping & Hjørundfjord
This sailing holiday starts in Alesund, one of Norway’s most unique towns due to its atmospheric Art Nouveau-style architecture. The sailing voyage goes in to the Hjørundfjord, one of Norway’s most beautiful fjords, but less known to the general public. With imposing mountains, picturesque villages like Sæbø and rugged snow-capped peaks. We sail on to the remote island of Runde, with beautiful flowers and many unusual birds such as Puffins, Gannets and sea eagles.
Sailing holiday Z11 from 16 September to 25 September – Lysefjord (Preikestolen) & island hopping
From Haugesund we sail via the many islands in the vast Boknafjord to the breathtakingly beautiful ‘Lysefjord’. And we sail to the picturesque little port of Skudenshavn with wooden fishermen’s cottages for a nice walk along the coast. Depending on the weather and currents, this can be outside the islands, or inland. On the small island of Talgje, there is also another nice walk with great views and many deer roaming around.
