Dear sailing enthusiast,

Autumn is now in full swing, storms “Bert” and “Conall” have been raging over us, but the Cherokee is safely moored in its home port Rotterdam. After wonderful trips last season to the Shetland Islands and Norway, we will be heading south again in 2025!

First, we will sail north to Scotland, through the Caledonian Canal to Ireland, the Scilly Islands, Cornwall & Devon, the Channel Islands, Brittany, and via beautiful Galicia we will end up in the vibrant city of Lisbon. This last trip is a mile builder from Vigo and has a stopover in the astonishing beautiful Porto.

New next season is that we will sail to the ‘Isle of Man’, as well as the south coast of Brittany. We will cross the Bay of Biscay again, but this time via ‘Belle Ile’ departing from Lorient.

Are you already excited to go out and enjoy the fresh air again? There are still places available on most vogages. Weather, wind, and tide will determine our destination, and of course, there will be time for beautiful walks too.

Updates:

• Starting in 2025, we will no longer have a “board cash”; that will be included in the price (full board).
• The previously mentioned yoga sailing trip has been canceled, but in its place, we will have a ‘women only’ sailing holiday, with Anne as relief skipper (so yes, only women).
