From the cosy student town of Bergen, we sail into the ‘Outer Hardangerfjord’, unique are the beautiful orchards and delicious Cider. An unspoilt and varied landscape with steep and forested mountain slopes, waterfalls and many islands.
The sailing distances on this sailing holiday are not very long, so there is plenty of time for a nice walk after sailing, and we visit nice little ports like Våge, but also beautiful anchorages in the middle of Norway’s overwhelming nature.
Sailing holiday Z10 from 26 August to 6 September – Inner Hardangerfjord & island hopping

From Norheimsund, we will sail deeper into the ‘Outer Hardangerfjord’, unique are the beautiful orchards and delicious Cider. An unspoilt and varied landscape with steep and forested mountain slopes, waterfalls and many islands.
The plan is to spend a day in Ulvik, where there are several options, such as a nature hike to a spectacular waterfall, kayak rental, swimming and sauna or a visit to a local Orchard Farm with a ‘fruit and cider route’. We will also sail to the charming town of Ullensvang.
We also sail up the North Sea to the island of Utsira, where we can take a walk to the lighthouse and associated ‘Lighthouse cafe’ for an ice cream or tasty waffle. The island is also known for its unusual birds and is also being compared to Fair Isle.ikestolen) & eilandhoppen
Sailing holiday Z11 from 16 September to 25 September – Lysefjord (Preikestolen) & island hopping

From Haugesund, we sail via islands in the vast Boknafjord to the breathtakingly beautiful ‘Lysefjord’. And we will sail to the picturesque little harbour Skudenshavn with wooden fishermen’s cottages for a nice walk along the coast. Depending on the weather and currents, this can be outside, or inside the islands.
On the small island of Talgje, there is also another nice hike to do with great views and many deer roaming around. Weather, wind and currents will determine the exact route, but one of the plans is to spend a day in Tau, from where the option is to take the bus for a hike to the spectacular viewpoint the ‘Preikestolen’.
